Iona Church is only open to the public at certain times during the year. During the summer season, the buildings are open for cruise ship passengers and crews for quiet reflection, prayer or to explore the church’s place in the history of the town, province and establishment of the Presbyterian Church of Aotearoa, New Zealand.

The church is now only opened for special services, concerts and the summer cruise ship season. Unfortunately, you will not be able to explore inside the church outside these times. For special arrangements, you can contact us privately about the possibility of gaining access for a particular purpose.

Check out times and dates when you are able to visit Iona during the summer season.
